F*ck It—AI’s Taking Our Jobs, the World’s on Fire, and I Want to Do Cool Sh*t That Pays

I had ideas. Big ones. I wanted to build, work, lead, contribute. But lately, it feels like every job is under siege, every idea is already taken, and every market is owned by someone with deeper pockets or stronger algorithms.
We're not just competing anymore — we're being replaced. And not slowly.
🚨 The Dangerous Myth: “AI Can Replace People”
Everyone’s obsessed with AI right now.CEOs are cutting headcount to save costs. Founders are skipping recruiters because they’ve got a $99/month ATS. Managers are trusting chatbots to replace human conversations.
But here’s the uncomfortable truth:
Empathy, intuition, and deep human judgment can’t be faked — not by code.
As someone who’s lived inside the recruitment industry, let me be blunt:There is no AI, no ATS, no plug-and-play software that fully replaces what a real, trained recruiter brings to the table.
Recruiters override bias — even your unconscious ones.
They spot cultural fit, not just résumé keywords.
They ask the hard questions your software can’t.
Still, recruiters are being phased out.Even though the data shows most hiring failures come from bias, ego, and a lack of self-awareness — things AI isn’t even close to fixing.
🌍 Meanwhile… Geopolitics Are Making Everything Worse
Just when you think you’ve got a plan — here comes the global circus:
BRICS rising, shifting the world’s economic power.
The U.S. whiplashing between political extremes every four years.
The Middle East caught in the crossfire of Western instability.
The UK is isolating itself with policy decisions that scream economic self-sabotage.
So yeah — planning a business, building a career, or even setting a 3-year life plan?
Feels like playing darts in an earthquake.
🤖 “Keep Up with Tech or Fall Behind.”
They say that like it’s humanly possible.
New tools. New platforms. New rules every other week. You can’t just “learn to code” your way out of this. Nobody can keep up. Not really. And pretending we all can is just elitist productivity cosplay.
🙃 So... What Now? Give Up?
Hell no. This isn’t a pity party. This is a call to pivot.
If AI is coming for the boring jobs, the soulless jobs, the highly-repetitive jobs… Then maybe it’s finally time to reclaim the ones that actually make us feel alive.
💡 Here’s a List of AI-Resistant, Artsy, Cool-as-Hell Jobs That Still Pay:
Job | Why It Wins |
🎨 Tattoo Artist / Illustrator | No AI can replicate soul + ink precision |
🎬 Cinematographer / Director | Storytelling is deeply human |
🧠 Psychologist / Coach | Empathy > data |
🏋️ Personal Trainer / Performance Coach | People need people to push limits |
🧳 Travel & Experience Curator | Human tastes + emotion-driven design |
🎭 Actor / Voice Talent / Entertainer | Raw expression > prompts |
🛠️ Artisan / Builder | Craft, detail, and touch still matter |
📚 Author / Poet / Essayist | Voice, nuance, pain — can't be auto-generated |
🧘 Therapist / Energy Worker | Mind-body work won’t be outsourced to bots |
🎤 Musician / Producer / DJ | Vibe is not programmable (yet) |
🍽️ Culinary Artist / Food Curator | Texture + taste = IRL magic |
These roles require something no machine can fully mimic: Soul. Story. Suffering. Sensory mastery.
🧠 Final Thought: It’s Time to Talk About Economic Reality
If AI ends up eating most jobs — cool.
But then what? Shouldn’t governments — and big tech — be preparing to offset the damage?
What if AI revenue was taxed to provide universal coverage for basic needs — so humans could actually do meaningful, creative work instead of scrambling for survival?
Not Marxist. Not socialist. Just… realistic.
Let AI take the factory floor. Let humans paint. Think. Heal. Create. Coach. Build things that feel good again.
✊ Until Then...
I’ll keep building, coaching, recruiting, and writing through the chaos —because some of us still believe the human part of humanity is worth keeping alive.
